Teach 2D graphics concepts with an OpenGL graphing program

Torben Lorenzen, Joseph Michaud · ACM SIGCSE Bulletin · 2005

The authors present an OpenGL program that draws a sheet of interactive graph paper on the computer screen. Examples are given illustrating how the program is used to teach 2D concepts in the beginning of a graphics course. The students in this course also code the program over a five week period. The student assignments and the graphing program are available via internet download.
