Heralded, Pure-State Single-Photon Source Based on a KTP Waveguide

We show that with simple spectral filtering, the Schmidt number for the transmitted photon-pairs (with 90% transmittance) which are produced via type-II parametric down-conversion in a KTP waveguide equals to unity to within 0.2 %.
