LOGICAL DESIGN OF CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR SEQUENTIAL MECHANISMS

J. R. ASHLEY, Alan Pugh · International Journal of Production Research · 1967

SUMMARY There is evidence to support the view that little analysis is used in the design of control systems for sequential machines. This paper outlines a design technique for such machines, taking a specific sequence as an illustration. The techniques used for the simplification of Boolean functions are included in an abbreviated form.
