Real-time speech enhancement system using envelope expansion technique

A real-time system for the enhancement of speech signals degraded by additive broadband noise is described. The enhancement process employed is a multiband envelope expansion technique derived from a recent speech dereverberation method and the system is implemented on a Texas Instruments TMS32O-C25 processor.
