On the problem of free-jump diffusion with sublattice disorder

We have calculated the velocity autocorrelation function in a free-jump diffusion motion taking into account sublattice disorder. The problem is solved by using the Kubo-Lax theory in a non-Markovian random walk model. The results are then used to show that the resonant response in superionic conductors of the β-alumina type, has also a contribution from disorder effects.
