Deleting inconsistencies in nontransitive preference relations

Luciano Basile · International Journal of Intelligent Systems · 1998

The problem of minimal modifications to be imposed on a nontransitive preference relation, to delete inconsistencies, is considered. This can be understood as a dual case of the problem of sensitivity analysis of transitive preference relations. Detailed considerations formalizing the problem and some results are presented. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
