Development of industrial Ethernet data acquisition modules

Industrial Ethernet data acquisition modules based on Rabbit2000 are developed. The embedded microprocessor Rabbit2000 is designed to be the heart of the module, which features an integrated Ethernet port. The processor is connected with the integrated Ethernet controller RTL8019 to achieve process control variables or equipment to be connected to an industrial Ethernet network and then provide for Internet-enabled systems to be built easily. The data acquisition module comprises of analog input and digital input/output channels, as well as EIA232 and EIA485 serial interface circuit. The built-in program written in Dynamic C can implement process data acquisition and industrial field device control.
