Model for the Integration of Software Components into Heterogeneous IT Systems

Ioan Rus · Procedia Economics and Finance · 2014

Abstract Emergent countries are generally prone to heterogeneous IT developments. The author shall analyze this aspect, stressing that heterogeneous computerization objectively depends on the financial resources available for this activity. While computerization is a priority in such countries, it is not seen as an immediate necessity, which is why designers should identify methods and techniques to embed existing software components, particularly to meet management informing requirements. This study presents a conceptual model of integration in this context. The author outlines means of data integration and application into modern concepts of concentrated long-distance processing of IT components (cloud processing). The implementation of the integration concept proposed may result in significant financial savings for companies equipped with heterogeneous IT systems and software components.
