Optimization of a Regression Model for a Quantitative Structure. Mutagenicity Relationship of Some Natural Amino Acids
Minati Kuanar, B. K. Mishra · Bulletin of the Chemical Society of Japan · 1998
Abstract Multivariate statistical tools, such as principal-component analysis and multiple-regression analysis, were used for a large number of structural and empirical parameters of some eleven natural amino acids for predicting mutagenicity. An optimized regression model was derived from some selective principal components and solubility data. Plots related to the principal components resulted in the ordination of amino acids as well as the structural and empirical parameters.
