Use of Downlinked Aircraft Parameters in Enhanced Tracking Architecture

Olivier Baud, N. Honore, Y. Roze, O. Taupin · 2007

Due to the advances in navigation and data communication technologies, data link between aircrafts and control centers are now available. The position given by the GPS (Global Positioning System) (ADS-B service) and additional Downlinked Aircraft Parameters (DAPs transmitted by mode S secondary Radar) can be used in the tracking function.
