Ongoing Deadbeat Observers for Linear Time-Varying Systems

New, computationally efficient design methods are reported for discrete time-varying deadbeat observers. The importance of an ongoing deadbeat property is shown and is incorporated in the design. These results are attractive even for time-invariant systems because of their simplicity.
