Table-top is collaborative work space providing large touch screen which is capable of multi-touch interface. To make an extended collaborative work space without restriction of time and place, one possible way is adoptingmobile devices. In this paper, we propose a way to monitor and control the table-top using mobile devices. To monitor the large-screen table-top with a mobile device, it is necessary to convert image into low-resolution for the device. We adopt a "Focus & context" image generation method for tabletop control, to convert relatively large screen images into smaller one for mobile display. With this method, users are able to have their own point of view for tabletop-based collaboration and also to have extended work spaces by adopting remote control. We prove the result by conducting several experiments.
