A Circuit for Testing Current Transformers

Eric A. Walker · Review of Scientific Instruments · 1941

A circuit is described for measuring the ratio and phase angle of current transformers. By using two standard resistances and a high impedance amplifier or vacuum tube voltmeter the use of mutual inductances or the necessity of comparisons is avoided. The method is applicable to potential and power transformers.
