Quality Characteristics for Service Oriented Architectures

Service Oriented Architectures play a key role in the integration of large and complex systems. Designing such systems requires deep analysis of the quality attributes that affect the user needs. Although, there are multiple models that try to summarize and standardize the quality aspects of software systems, they all provide different quality characteristics into consideration. In this paper we present a study of various quality models and their quality characteristics that can be used to reason about Service Oriented Architectures.
