Measuring visual appeal of web pages

Much research in human-computer interaction (HCI) has focused on usability. An equally important yet often overlooked component of HCI is the subjective visual appeal of an interface [3]. The present paper redresses this shortcoming by comparing two approaches to measuring the subjective visual appeal of Web pages.
