Comment on asymptotic expansions for parabolic cylinder functions

The author's earlier letter (1976) on semiclassical strong-coupling parabolic connection formulae is reconsidered, and in response to the critical comments of Lozano and Olver (see ibid., vol.11, no.18, p.L531 (1978)), concerning asymptotic expansions of parabolic cylinder functions, two errors are acknowledged and corrected. It is, nevertheless, pointed out that they are incidental to the derivation of the connection formulae, which remains intact.
