Screening Tests for Use in Hiring Microassemblers
Ronald E. Riggio, Yass Sotoodeh · Perceptual and Motor Skills · 1987
A series of studies examined the effectiveness of using a group of standardized tests to predict job performance for microassemblers. Subjects included groups of microassemblers ( n = 25) and comparison groups of non-assembly workers ( n = 15) and students ( n = 24). Analysis indicated that scores on a battery of manual dexterity tests and a measure of arithmetic skills were related to ability to perform delicate and somewhat demanding micro-assembly jobs.
