A novel digital capacitance meter

A switched-battery digital capacitance meter based on the RC discharge is described, The meter parameters have very low sensitivity to variations in internal meter circuits. To reduce the initial condition error of the measurements, an automatic control technique of changing phase timing is used. The meter is used in applications where precise measurements of small capacitance changes are required.
