Comparison of round-off noise variances in several low round-off noise digital filter structures

This note presents round-off noise expressions for fixed-point digital filters realized in the error-feedback structure, and a comparison of the error-feedback structure with other low round-off noise digital filter structures in terms of output round-off noise variance.
