APPLICATION OF HIDDEN MARKOV MODELS TO PROBLEMS OF CLASSIFICATION OF RADIO WAVES USING CONTRAST MODELS

A signal classification algorithm, based on the hidden Markov model, is considered. The basic idea is to construct a contrast model of the signal using its wavelet transform and a hidden Markov model. The problems of the feature space generation and its analysis are discussed.
