The Italian Authority for the Protection of Personal Information (aka, Guarantor of Privacy) is an internationally recognised reference point for both legislators and academicians. Many of the Authority's regulations (and opinions) have been adopted by other countries and incorporated into their legislative frameworks. One of the recent regulations issued by the Authority that will certainly generate ripples in Europe and beyond regards management of system administrators.
