Fast spherical harmonic analysis (FSHA) for 3D modelrepresentation

The authors present a fast and simple method for the calculation of spherical harmonic parameters that can be used to represent 3D models. It is shown that FSHA is superior to the previously reported singular value decomposition (SVD) method.
