777 OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS DEVELOPMENT METHODOLOGY

ABSTRACT This paper addresses a formal methodology for the 777 Airplane operational requirements development. The advantages of a formal model are explored and the tool set utilized is discussed. The extensions in definition of the operational requirements and the traceability and interdependence of the functional and performance requirements are shown. Layered state and transition diagrams showing operational sequences and related requirements illustrates the methodology.
