Falls and accidents associated with physical activities are a serious problem in the elderly and people with disabilities. They induce injuries, hospital inputs, and even dead. Their consequences include psychological effects and finally loss of personal autonomy and dependence. Wearable and ubiquitous devices with ability to detect such risk events were proposed time ago, but no falling detector has achieved the acceptance by socio-healthcare providers yet.
