WDTS 2012 Preface

WDTS 2012, the Workshop on Dependable Transportation Systems, is held as a co-located event during the 18th IEEE Pacific Rim International Symposium on Dependable Computing (PRDC 2012). Dependability is one of the most critical issues in today's transportation systems, especially in railway systems. As being important social infrastructure to support humans' economic activities, transportation systems must satisfy both of high-level safety and the requirement on accurate operations, under complex, interconnected, and high-capacity networks.
