The book examines the main problems concerning the organization and management of data on the Web. Its contents span different fields and may be of interest for several categories of readers. From this perspective it would have been useful to have an introductory chapter for contextualizing and relating the various contributions to allow the reader an easier navigation into its contents. The book is divided into four sections: the first deals with Web data mining. The sequence of chapters, starting from general concepts, progressively introduces the concepts specific to clustering and classification applied to the Web and constitutes an exhaustive survey of the current research in the field.
