BIO-INSPIRED ALGORITHMS FOR MOBILITY MANAGEMENT

This work reviews a number of bio-inspired algorithms and examines their suitability for solving the location management problem by using the paging cell and location area schemes. A comparison is performed using three test networks using realistic user movement patterns. The results provide new insight into the mobility management problem that can influence the design of future wireless networks.
