Karhunen-Loeve expansion of a fast Rayleighfading process

An approximate Karhunen-Loève expansion is given for a random fading process characterised by an autocorrelation function Rḡ(τ) = J0(2πfdτ), J0(x) is the zeroth order Bessel function and fd is the process fading rate.
