Application of Degree Theory in Stability of the Complementarity Problem

In this paper we study the behavior of a solution of the complementarity problem when the problem is perturbed. The basic result is that if the degree of a certain function is nonzero then the problem is stable. We show that several well-known conditions for the existence of a solution to the problem also imply stability of the problem. We also show that in the nondegenerate case there are simple conditions that ensure stability.
