An improved electrolytic hygrometer

The design and performance of an improved coulometric-electrolytic hygrometer is described. The hygrometer operates over a range of at least 0.5-5000 parts of water per million parts of air by weight. Rapid response times of between 5 and 15 sec over this range have been obtained, and the instrument is designed for continuous operation at gas flow rates through the hygrometer of up to 500 ml. min -1 .
