Design and Experimental Test of the Audio Directional System

The audio directional system is a new kind of loudspeakers, which can project the audio signal into a specified area as a beam of light. In this paper, the basic principle and system components of the audio directional system are presented. Based “Berktay far-field solution”, the total harmonic distortion of the self-demodulated signals is discussed. In addition, the relative tests are made with the audio directional experimental equipment which is designed. After comparing the theoretical data with the experimental data, point out the disadvantages of self-demodulation theory.
