This paper deals with automated configuration for a telemetry system for the water industry. The automated configuration system enables a planned and efficient implementation of system configuration. This configuration mechanism provides the user with a flexible approach to development and implementation of system configuration. Automated configuration ensures the configuration process remains consistent throughout the duration of the project. (20 pages)
