Application of expert system for arrhythmia analysis

This paper presents an effective application of expert system for analysis Cardiac disorder like arrhythmia. An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a bioelectrical signal which records the heart's electrical activity verses time. It is an important diagnostic tool for assessing heart functions. The technique used is feature extraction and neural network for signal analysis. The processed signal source came from the MIT-BIH arrhythmia database which was developed for research in cardiac electro-physiology.
