Products of idempotents of defect 1 in certain semigroups of transformations

This paper is concerned with products of idempotents of defect 1 in semigroups of order-preserving (or partial order-preserving) of transformations on the finite chain. We find the value of the least integer number kfor which , Where E 1(or F) is the set of idempotents of defect 1.
