Soft fault diagnosis in analogue circuits: a comparison of fuzzy approach with radial basis function networks

A fault diagnosis technique of electronic analogue circuits, based on a fuzzy approach is presented. Its performance is compared to that obtained by a neural network (radial basis function) approach. The effects of noise and of non-faulty parameter tolerance are taken into account.
