The systems are thus becoming increasingly more complex with growing number of heterogeneous software and hardware components, increasingly more difficult to monitor, manage and maintain. As a result, it is not a trivial task to provide high performance, high dependability, and high manageability for such computing systems. In this paper, we first present an integrated data-driven architecture for computing system management and then present a case study on Autonomic System Manager: a software system we developed that is currently being used by the system and network administrators of School of Computing and Information Sciences (SCIS) at Florida International University (FIU).
