Graph model for conflict resolution analysis based on interval grey number preference

Fan Yang, Yeqing Guan · 2015

The decision maker's preference information is an important part in the process of conflict analysis. Under the influence of uncertainty factors existing in the actual conflict, the decision maker's preference ranking is not completely certain. Because the shortage that the existing uncertain preference ordering method is too rough, this paper examines a new measure of preference ranking based on interval grey number preference structure, which strategies priorities determining the decision makers' preference ranking. The new method takes both kernel of grey interval and grey level of grey interval into consideration. Stability of conflict analysis based on interval grey number preference is defined clearly. Finally, it is applied to the problem of “Industry-University” cooperation conflict. This research expands the applicable scope of conflict analysis preference ranking, and the example shows the effectiveness and operability of the method.
