An ergonomically efficient, descriptive text oriented microcomputer based echocardiogram measurement and database system

Lloyd A. Marks · 2002

A microcomputer-based echocardiagram interpretation, measurement, storage, and report generation system which substantially reduces user movements and thereby improves ergonomic efficiency is described. When compared to a popular commercial system, total keystrokes are reduced by 55%, and movements between the digitizing device and keyboard are reduced by 85%.
