A new extension method for wavelet transform

The extension methods in sub-band coding associated with wavelet transform are investigated. An r-factor pseudo-circular extension method is presented. We prove that the perfect reconstruction can be achieved by our extension method and the method is better than other existing extension methods, as shown in many examples.
