Helen: A Shared Chalkboard for Low-Bandwidth Networks

The volume of data handled in shared applications is sometimes very large, so it takes a long time to reflect operations in remote computers if the implementation of the system is naive, especially if the computers are connected via low-bandwidth networks. This paper describes methods to solve the above problem.
