Jeffrey J. Steckroth · Mathematics Teacher Learning and Teaching PK-12 · 2006

In this month's tip, Jeff Steckroth shares several features of TI-SmartView 2.0, which is emulator software for the Texas Instruments graphing calculator TI-84 Plus. First, Steckroth explains how SmartView can be used to simultaneously display algebraic, tabular, and graphical representations of functions. He then shares two limitations of SmartView and follows with instructions on using scripts, emulator states, and the keystroke history features and on taking screen shots. A thirty-day trial CD of TI-SmartView 2.0 can be requested by calling 1-800-TI-CARES.
