Structuralized control logic for discrete event systems

This paper extends the application range of the predicate-oriented modular synthesis approach proposed by Ramadge and Wonham. From the practical requirements and for the simplicity of synthesis, we develop Iwo approaches, i.e. the Structuratized Control approach and Overlappingly Structuratized Control approach, to synthesize large scale DEDS which consists of many synchronous subsystems. It is pointed out that the proposed approaches are feasible in both computation and implementation.
