Design of orthogonal prefilter with the Strang-Fixcondition

A novel orthogonal prefilter satisfying the Strang-Fix condition is designed for common orthonormal compactly supported multiscaling functions. Compared with the method in for GHM 2 wavelets, the phiŝ(ω) of the phis(t) constructed using the proposed method has second-order flatness at ω = 0.
