Neuro-fuzzy Systems: Hybrid Configurations

Horia Nicolai Teodorescu, T. Yamakawa · 1996

The linguistic systems and the fuzzy systems are known to be easy to design and develop. The complexity of their description is combinatorial. A finite number of combinations is needed to completely describe a linguistic system and the corresponding fuzzy system. On the other hand, the neural networks have a proven ability in learning; moreover good learning algorithms are available for them. Therefore, it is practically interesting to combine fuzzy systems and neural networks. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
