Hierarchical Intelligent Attitude Controller For Spacecraft
S. Murugesan · 2005
Abstract This paper discusses the need for autonomous, intelligent attitude controller for spacecraft and presents a hierarchical intelligent attitude controller. The intelligent controller consists of a traditional model-based controller and a supervisory real-time knowledge-based system that provides the 'meta control' to the low-level controller. It has the potential to yield higher levels of performance under uncertain environments and the ability to tolerate faults and to carry out onboard operations autonomously
