Research on rehabilitation treatment using electromyogram (EMG) signals has been in progress for the sake of persons with disabilities (PWDs). Previously, almost all rehabilitation treatments made PWDs feel somewhat uncomfortable, which prompted them to consider these treatments repulsive. Therefore, this study provides some useful applications of EMG signals. The EMG signals that passed through an acquisition module were transmitted to a PC using the wireless communication module. The graphic user interface (GUI) in the PC provides visual effects that are expected to draw the interest of the patients. The developed GUI has display and save functions. The graph on the GUI windows assists the rehabilitation treatment by showing the condition of the muscles. The data saved from the GUI shows the conditions of the muscles of the PWDs and helps in the latter’s training. In this paper, it is considered that the proposed systems can prove that EMG signals and rehabilitation treatment stem from the same issues.
