Introduction to Webology

In this paper, we try to define Webology as a field of science that deals with the phenomenon of the World Wide Web. Webology is still in its infancy, and just like other fields of science, it needs to be studied and matured during the time. On the other hand, the Web as an important information source should be studied to identify its capabilities, problems, advantages and disadvantages.
