Software application for movement dynamic's study

The paper is describing a software application, part of a specialized equipment for monitoring caloric consumption and movement's dynamics. The hardware components are briefly presented. Developed under LabVIEW on a HP iPAQ PDA, the application is gathering measurement data through serial RS-232 communication and is performing the necessary computation for determining a set of specific parameters: speed, step's length, number of steps, vertical force, duration and ratio of support time and balancing time.
