Performance analysis of finite output buffer ATM switch with Bernoulli arrival of two priorities

A theoretical queue model of an ATM switch with Bernoulli arrivals of two priorities and finite output buffer capacity is developed. The average queue size, the loss probability of packets and the average waiting times are considered. Finally, a computer simulation proved the results of the analysis.
