MONITORING OF ROAD TRAFFIC

This paper addresses segmentation of moving objects and object tracking, which are essential for road traffic monitoring systems. The addition, the maintenance of a dynamic 3D scene model including moving objects is considered. The proposed techniques of object segmentation and tracking are implemented in a system which is able to produce a robust motion description used for traffic analysis.
